This gives the first 5 chapters of Dead Space 2 a different, more immediate energy than the first game. You get to see what a necromorph outbreak actually looks like - and in a civilian population centre, no less. It just had a lot more going on in it that people mistake it for "more action than horror."ĭead Space 2, rather than be a rehash of Dead Space, did something different in that while in Dead Space you arrive on the scene days or even weeks AFTER a necromorph outbreak and massacre, Dead Space 2 has you wake up DURING a necromorph outbreak.
